London is levelling up this September as Southbank welcomes a groundbreaking new entertainment landmark, Arcade Arena, opening its doors on Saturday 5th September. Bringing together three state-of-the-art real-life gaming worlds under one roof, the cutting-edge venue will host the exclusive world premiere of Alien Invasion, the UK’s first-ever immersive drone-technology experience, pushing the boundaries of interactive entertainment.

Created by award-winning immersive entertainment pioneer Tom Lionetti-Maguire, the visionary behind The Crystal Maze Experience and the creative force behind groundbreaking live gaming attractions including PAC-MAN Live Experience and Chaos Karts, Arcade Arena brings together cutting-edge technology, immersive storytelling and next-generation gameplay to deliver a truly unique entertainment experience.

Featuring blockbuster gaming experiences and the UK’s first ever immersive drone experience, Arcade Arena combines cinematic environments, live-action gameplay and innovative technology to offer visitors a revolutionary new way to play. Transporting guests into fully immersive worlds where they become part of the experience, every element, from physical interaction and advanced digital effects to real-time challenges, is designed to blur the lines between gaming and reality, creating unforgettable moments that can be seen, felt and heard.

  • Already a huge success in Manchester, Arcade Arena is set to be the company’s biggest venue yet, with multiple gigantic gaming Arenas allowing access to all games simultaneously, creating a neon-lit playground where video games become to life; with electrifying spaces to recharge between games.

    The latest addition to Arcade Arena, The PAC-MAN Live Experience, transforms one of the world’s most recognisable arcade games into a giant real-life challenge. Players become PAC-MAN, navigating an illuminated maze, collecting power, avoiding ghosts and racing against the clock in a fast-paced, team-based adventure.

    Meanwhile, Chaos Karts reinvents classic karting by combining real electric karts with immersive digital projection technology. Drivers race across constantly changing virtual worlds where power-ups, hazards and interactive gameplay bring all the excitement of a video game into the real world, without the need for headsets or screens.

    Completing the line-up is Alien Invasion, an all-new immersive adventure making its long-awaited debut at Arcade Arena London. Guests will join the Cosmic Cadets to save the universe from extraterrestrial threat in an action-packed adventure with cinematic technology, real life alien druids and pulse-racing gameplay.
