Cybermachina Game Pub Krakow Review

Cybermachina is a multi chain company based in Poland which is simply explained as a game pub. Located in 12 different areas of Poland, in towns such as Wroclaw & Katowice, Cybermachina offers a thrilling & fun experience for locals, gamers and even tourists.

Whilst they have many locations, our main focus in this review is the Krakow location, which can be found in the heart of Krakow. We managed to find the location via Google Maps and it is located in the basement of a building and found by a clear sign outside.

The location had plenty to offer and were excited to catch a glimpse of it during our visit whilst exploring Krakow.

When entering Cybermachina, we made our way to the bar to sort out our allocated table. You are able to reserve a table online, so during busy times you know you can have a table to play games on for sure. As a game pub, you are able to get drinks, play board games and they have a range of other fun games you can explore too. These included guitar hero, a football table and other retro consoles.

The venue can be found open between Thursday to Sunday, with it opening in the early afternoon and closing as late as 3am! Therefore, it is a perfect place to visit if you want a late night game session, or even just a peaceful afternoon.

With the board games, the system worked by you handing one persons ID at the bar. This would then allow you to play any game you can find on the shelf available. Once done, simply return the game and collect your ID at the bar. They had a range of games, but as located in Poland you can understand the majority of them was in Polish. We still managed to play plenty of games such as Chess and, we even managed to learn a new game and was able to translate the small amount of Polish required to play it!

We never managed to explore the full and try out all of its facilities, however, they did have a Wii U console and even a Guitar Hero station. Both were extremely popular during our visit on a peak Saturday evening. We did manage to get on the football table for a little bit and it was nice addition to this venue.

During our visit, the World Cup was on and we managed to get a great seat to watch the game in Cybermachina. They had a projection screen setup and it was really a nice venue to watch the game in Poland, as it wasn’t so busy that you couldn’t move around or so loud so you couldn’t hear the commentary. In fact, one of the rooms our table was based, there was about 6 or so other tables and each one of them had a prime view of the game.

Whilst we had a fantastic time playing some board games and watching the World Cup, we managed to try a great selection of drinks. They had a fully stocked bar, a great menu and so many delicious cocktails and funky shots. We had drinks with gummy worms in them, level up potions and great drinks. They also have the usual spirits and soft drink range but, why would you go for them when everything else was so good? We couldn’t recommend more having a few drinks whilst playing some board games.

Overall, Cybermachina Game Pub in Krakow is a superb venue to get some cocktails, play some board games and just have a fun evening out. We lost track of our time here and ended up spending the majority of our evening in Krakow in this venue. It had such a nice vibe within, a lovely team and just created such a fun experience for us all. The value of money for drinks is great thanks to the UK to PLN exchange rate, and with no charge for the use of the table, it was worthwhile for sure.

We have to say a huge thank you to the Cybermachina team for who reserved us a table and allowed us to have some free drinks in return for our review and coverage. We highly recommend you visit them if you love boardgames for an alternative night out in Krakow, and if you live locally then a fantastic night with friends!
