What is Walsall Scare Maze? Well, it’s a scare attraction based in Walsall which is located just north of Birmingham, near Wolverhampton. Running for multiple years, Walsall Scare Maze has grown from strength to strength in creating a different lengthy scare attraction based on a unique theme and storyline. Some of the latest creations include The Ward, Bad Santa’s Twisted House & The Groundsman. Not only running during Halloween, they have been known to create Christmas scare attractions during their time also!
Walsall Scare Maze has recently won an award during the annual SCAR awards hosted in May for “Best Scare Attraction in the UK” for the attractions they created back in 2018. The SCAR awards are Europe’s only dedicated scare awards which are hosted annually during Scare Con.
For 2019, Walsall Scare Maze introduces House Of Heinous for the Halloween scare attractions running through selected nights from October 11th through to November 2nd.
“Take a terrifying journey deep into the Midlands darkest secrets. This year, step into the court room as your fate is decided, take a trip down the mines and appear in the darkest depths of Dudley Castle where the grey lady resides. Make your way through the sewage system of the Black Country and find yourselves back in time where the blinders are out for revenge. If you manage to escape the wraths of the peaky’s, it’s time to check in to the Station Hotels most haunted room! Finally, be transported over to Cannock Chase where the curse of the Black Eyed Child awaits anyone entering the woodland and its cabin of demise!”
Outside Halloween, you can experience the Christmas scare maze which for 2019 will be called “Christmasacre”. A twisted, immersive and festive scare attraction which includes live actors and festive frights.
Tickets can be purchased for as little as £8.50 during off peak times and the only place to get these would be through the official Walsall Scare Maze website.
With them already half way through the Halloween run, we recommend you grab a ticket for one of the remaining nights before it is too late! Halloween night itself being a special night with it including additional entertainment such as street performers, fire breathers and much more on the night.
We will be visiting Walsall Scare Maze towards the end of the Halloween run with our rating and review coming online shortly after.
