Our time in the Escape Arcade flew by so quickly, a testament to how much fun we were having with all the diverse games. The end of our session was signaled by the games ceasing to operate, which felt somewhat abrupt, though it’s true that time often seems to accelerate when you’re thoroughly enjoying yourself. A small but helpful improvement could be the addition of a visible timer or check-in station to help players track their remaining time.

Upon returning to reception, we handed back our wristband and were thrilled to hear our final score: an impressive 85,878! We were even more delighted to learn that this was a very high score for first-time players, and we had actually secured 3rd place on the daily leaderboard! A thoughtful touch was the follow-up email detailing our scores for each room. It highlighted our stellar performances in Laser Defence, Y2K Panic, and Cover Shoot. This breakdown is fantastic, as it allows us to strategize for our next visit, either revisiting our top-scoring rooms to aim for the all-time leaderboard or exploring the many rooms we didn’t get to try.

To cap off our adventure, we headed to the bar to unwind with cocktails. Their menu boasts a wide array of signature creations with unique and playful presentations. One of our team members ordered a drink served from a miniature safe, complete with a dramatic puff of dry ice – a truly memorable touch! They also offer canned beers, soft drinks, classic cocktails, and everything in between. The bar area provides a comfortable space to relax, discuss your gaming triumphs, and even enjoy some of the board games they have available.

We absolutely loved the Escape Arcade and believe it’s a fantastic addition to London’s entertainment scene. Priced very reasonably for such a multifaceted experience, its inherent replayability means we’re already eager to return and conquer the remaining doors and challenges. Each game offered a distinct and engaging experience, and we particularly appreciated how everyone on the team could contribute and even take the lead, thanks to the diverse skills each challenge required.
