Fairgame Levels Up: Introducing Fairgame City

Fairgame has just levelled up in 2025 with the launch of Fairgame City. This brand-new venue is a funfair, but not as you remember it, blending classic games, prizes, and drinks in an exciting new location. The concept modernizes the traditional funfair with vibrant lights, innovative games, and even gigantic ducks, transforming it into the ultimate adult playground. This new venue builds on the success of the original Canary Wharf location, which launched a few years ago.

For its second location, Fairgame has debuted in St Paul’s, offering a larger venue with 12 new and exciting games. However, you can still visit the original location to enjoy its nine games, as both venues promise an equally good time. As a central London location, St Paul’s is easily reachable by various transport methods, including the Tube, bus, and on foot. It is highly recommended that you book in advance, as the venue gets very busy on evenings and weekends. If they have last-minute availability, you can book on the day, but based on the popularity of the first location, we expect this venue to be very busy and suggest booking many weeks ahead of your intended visit.

A 90-minute playing session at the City venue costs between £22 and £25 per person, depending on the time. This gives you the chance to play all 12 games, and you get to play them all twice in a row. Before and after your main activity, you can relax at the bar and enjoy a selection of unique cocktails and classic drinks, or grab some delicious street food from a variety of vendors.

It’s important to note that Fairgame is an 18+ venue at all times.

First Impressions, Food & Drink

Upon arriving at the venue, we were immediately greeted by a big duck and the bright lights of the funfair-themed space. As you make your way downstairs to the bar and game zone, you can instantly see that this venue is significantly larger than the original, which was very exciting. We checked in at the self-service machines, where we were given our game card and our assigned start time. You can choose a name and a photo for the scoreboard, which allows you to track your scores on both past and future visits.

With at least 30 minutes from your booking time before you start playing, there is plenty of time to settle in, grab a drink, and catch up. We treated ourselves to some of their wonderful cocktail creations, with names like “Mom I Won a Fish” and “Small Duck Energy.” Each drink had its own unique design and flavor. In addition, they offer plenty of classic beverages and even have their own branded beer.

If you’re looking for food, we were able to sample a few of the vendors on site. Burger & Beyond crafted one of the best burgers we have ever had, while Rudy’s Pizza Napolitana offered fresh and delicious pizzas. Whatever you choose, we can assure you there are some fantastic options at this location, and we would highly recommend the experience.

The Games: A Perfect Blend of Fun and Competition

After exploring the food and drink options, our time had officially begun, and we made our way to the starting area for a quick briefing. The gameplay was quite self-explanatory: once you arrived at a game, you simply scanned your card to begin your session. Each game is played twice, back-to-back, so you can warm up on the first round and give it your all on the second. You score points in each game, which adds to a scoreboard that tracks not only your progress against your own group but against everyone else in the venue. A physical leaderboard is displayed, and you can also check your ranking online. In some games, if you score high enough, you can even win a small prize, from bubblegum and keychains to a small teddy bear—a reward reserved for only the most skilled players!

With 12 games on offer, you can play them in any order you like, though you should expect a small wait during peak times. All the games have simple, easy-to-understand goals. Some of our favorites were Beaky Finders, a large duck-grabbing game where you had to use a litter picker to put ducks into a tiny hole. Another highlight was Oaprix, a fun ball-rolling game designed like classic horse racing, but with a hilarious twist: grandmothers on mobility scooters! We also loved Joyride, where you grab a gear stick and shift as quickly as possible, and Havoc in the Hive, which required us to grab tiny balls being blown everywhere. All the games were delightfully chaotic but provided plenty of competitive fun and laughter. They perfectly capture the classic fun of the fairground and modernize it, making you want to play all over again as an adult.

Fairgame City has truly expanded on the success of its first venue, creating a second location that is bigger and better in every way. With more games, more space, and, of course, more ducks, it’s hard not to fall in love with what they have created. We can easily see ourselves returning time and again, just as we did with the first venue, to play the games, try to beat our old scores, and simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. With special events, a DJ playing during peak times, and plenty of cocktails and food to try, we honestly can’t wait to return and do it all again.

A huge thank you to the team at Fairgame City for inviting us to be among the first to try the new venue. We were invited to a press preview, which included complimentary food, drinks, and access to the games in return for our honest review and content.

Fairgame City is poised to be one of London’s hottest and most affordable experiences, so be sure to book your own session to see what all the fuss is about! Want to see more? Then watch our TikTok for some snippets of what you might experience.
