Tornado Springs

Opening recently in 2021, Tornado Springs takes you back in time to 1950’s Mid West America. Featuring 8 rides and attractions, this area is heavily themed with some great additions for the park and has something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the main attractions to the area is Storm Chaser. Reaching top speeds of 37mph and breath taking views of the park at 65 feet high, this spinning coaster by MACK is perfect for little thrill seekers! Next up is Cyclonator. This gyro swing is the first flat ride at the park to feature upside down sensations reaching heights of up to 25 metres! The Farmyard Flyer is the most recent addition to the area of Tornando Springs. If you’re looking for a fun, family ride then this Zierer roller coaster is a perfect option. Set to an authentic 1950’s USA Farm, riders can expect to see various animals throughout the ride and even a combine harvester! If you’re feeling warm and tired from spending time on the farm, you can always cool down on Buffalo Falls. Set with views across Tornando Springs, this water raft ride is great fun for all the family. This area of the park is also home to various other children’s flat rides including the double mini spinning drop tower, Windmill Towers, Al’s Auto Academy driving school and the tractor ride. Not forgetting the food and drinks options, Tornado Springs is home to Route 83 diner to eat the American way serving a range of burgers, chicken and hot dogs. Delicious!

PEPPA PIG WORLD & ZOO

Home to the world’s largest and first Peppa Pig World, Paulton’s Park gives visitors the opportunity to meet Peppa and George and explore the 9 themed, family rides. Hop on board a boat ride at Granny Rabbit’s Sailing club or enjoy a beautiful view on board Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, Peppa Pig fans would not want to miss out. 

Although Paulton’s is home to fantastic rides and attractions, there is also a small zoo with a wide variety of animals including monkeys, flamingos and meerkats. Our personal favourite has to be Bacon the parrot, make sure you pay him a visit and say hello. He might even say hello back! 

The park itself is very picturesque and the lakeside walk and water mill is a great way to have a rest from the excitement and soak up the natural atmosphere. The watermill itself was built in 1860 and is a huge part of the Paulton’s heritage. From the lake you can look across to the Critters Creek area which contains the Cat-o-pillar coaster, popular with families, whilst surrounded by a weird and wonderful theme.

FUTURE PLANS

During the superfan day Paultons hosted for us and other fans/influencers, they put on an insightful presentation discussing the past, present and future of the park. Talking about logistics and infrastructure, including a potential new phone mast to improve signal for guests, but also sharing information about new attractions.

2025 will see the (now closed) 4D cinema building and show street be completely transformed into a new spooky area. Ghostly Manor was confirmed as the name following on from a promo video of Dr Kinley discussing the paranormal activity and capturing of artefacts and spirits. Fear not, it’s not a scary attraction, but a more spooky haunted house for all ages. This attraction will feature a unique interactive ride system that we can’t wait to find out more about.

2026 was teased during a short video featuring cartoon viking characters and a metal rotating Paultons Park logo. No context or further information was given at this time. What do you think it could be?

Further beyond that is a mystery, but we are reassured that plans and options are constantly being explored behind the scenes, and they cannot wait to bring more exciting changes to the park in the future, and share when the time is right.
