Psycho Path has so much going for it in 2025, with another year of expanding its lineup and building on existing attractions. Psychotorium is a brand-new maze, while popular favorites have been updated: Doll House has been refreshed, The Hunt is even bigger, and I-Scream is now running in reverse. The event also boasts new stage shows, including “The Bewitching,” which features several different acts like fire and drag performers. Other shows, like the street team’s performances or “La Flamo,” an intense fire show, brings serious heat to the event.

Psycho Path is renowned for the variety of its attractions, and with 11 on offer, the park continues to find new ways to entertain the public. While it offers standard haunted houses like I-Scream and Psycho City, it also features unique concepts like The Hunt and Vandalized, which are unlike anything you’ll see elsewhere. This focus on innovative ideas and unique concepts makes Psycho Path a key player in the UK scare scene. However, the side-show offering felt a bit limited this year compared to previous seasons; Anarchy Arcade seemed to be just one stall, and the Fear Grounds funfair only had one attraction during our visit. That said, Psycho Path is not to be missed this year. It continues to deliver a true fear festival that guarantees an enjoyable evening.

Crawl Space

Crawl Space has returned and invites you into the tiny home of its hillbilly residents. You’ll meet Monica, Ingrid, and more as you pass through their abode, but not as you normally would. The name gives it away: the only way to move forward is to crawl. This experience is not for the faint-hearted or for those who dislike small spaces. The storyline keeps you moving through each scene as you encounter the family members, who tease and play with you. The audio and lighting here are quite simple, lacking high production value or gimmicks, which could be upgraded to enhance the experience. The standout aspect has to be the actor performances; the cast, from the outside right through to the end, gets up close and plays their characters with remarkable realism. They love to interact with every single person, keeping the experience fun, spooky, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Doll House: The Factory – Updated for 2025

Doll House: The Factory has also seen some significant changes for 2025. This attraction, new for 2024, sees you stepping into different scenes as you undergo the transformation into a doll. From the makeup room to processing and dress-up, every step is designed to prepare you for your new life. The main change for this year comes in the form of a revised layout. While last year’s version was literally a maze where you had to find your way to the exit, the 2025 update now features a single, clear route. But don’t be fooled—they’ve still included plenty of dead ends to throw you off! This new layout ensures you get to experience everything Doll House has to offer, which we are huge fans of.

The best part was getting to meet all the dolls; our favorite was dressed in a beautiful dress, and some of us were given masks because, as one doll told us, our faces were beyond saving. The attraction’s special effects are very simple, using some disco lights in the outdoor areas, with the rest of the scares being very manual. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, we think some additional special effects would upgrade the attraction. However, the true highlight here is the actor performance. The cast genuinely gets involved, making your journey as scary but as enjoyable as possible. We had so many laughs inside, and the chaos the actors bring makes this an insane and unmissable attraction for 2025.

Cutthroat Island

Cutthroat Island is a returning maze that has remained largely unchanged this year, with the exception of a new, more cohesive storyline. Following a more sexual theme than in previous years, this version allows you to meet a variety of characters in different settings, from a graveyard and tavern to a brothel. If you’re lucky, you might even get to meet Tara, the local prostitute.

With this naughtier storyline, most of the scares have been removed from Cutthroat Island, which is a shame for a horror attraction. We experienced next to no scares; instead, the maze was more theatrical and comedic. However, we did enjoy this approach, as not every maze has to be scary. The theatricality and comedic, sexualized storyline made for a surprising and entertaining experience.

Psycho City

Psycho City is another returning attraction that has been at the event for some time. The maze remains largely unchanged, inviting you to step into a dystopian wasteland and meet the strange inhabitants lurking within. The large number of props used for theming truly works in its favor, as a wasteland theme allows for almost anything to fit the story. We particularly enjoyed the church and nursery scenes, which bring a unique character to the maze.

Unfortunately, the scare factor seemed a bit lacking this year. While the maze had some creepy moments, we didn’t experience any jump scares, and we’d love to see more of that from this type of attraction. The concept of Psycho City is very simple, but that’s what makes it work so well, allowing the team to create many interlinked characters and scenes. While we still enjoyed going through the maze, it was the weakest one of the night, and we’d love to see it get some much-needed attention to make it a top-rated horror journey once more.
