A year of event-ures is in full swing at Chessington this 2023 season with a wide range of activities throughout the year for the whole family to enjoy. You have already missed Zoo-tastic weekends and FebROARy! Below you can find a snippet of each event coming to Chessington World of Adventures Resort for 2023 and by clicking on the image or the blue title texts, you can be taken to the official website for more info!
A cracking new adventure is hopping into Chessington World of Adventures this Easter. Be prepared for Easter animal trails, as you follow the clues in the Easter trail across the Resort through all the different lands and come face-to-face with the incredible animals. Don’t forget the Easter bunny who will make their debut this year! Not forgetting the 40 incredible rides and all of the family shows on offer during this event, such as family-favourite Cocomelon.
The event will run from the 1st April to the 16th April with the theme park and zoo being open between 10am – 6pm daily.
There is plenty to see and experience for this brand new Easter event. More will be announced closer to the time but until then…
Get ready to hit the streets adventurers as Mardi Grrra makes a return for 2023. Featuring tasty food, fab rides and a dazzling, colourful celebration, Mardi Grrra is bound to take the take the world-famous festival for a walk on the wild side!
Some of the highlights for 2022 include reach for the beads, which happened over on the Mane Stage. The Carnival Spectacle show brought families together by the show led by the Jester! Not forgetting to groove with the krewes, as the flamboyant Kreature Krewes went across the resort and became a party animal in dance, music and entertainment. Mardi Grrra also bought the munch in 2022 with the mouth-watering food from New Orleans to keep with the Carnival theme.
The event will be running from the 27th May through to the 25th June. With weekends and selected days being open 10am – 6pm and some midweek days having a 5pm close. Who is looking forward to the returning Carnival party?
Wilderfest
Get ready to croc n roll adventurers as Wilderfest is back! Be prepared for the restart to come to life filled with live music, roaming street entertainment, mouth-watering food and heaps of family summer fun! Running all summer long, Wilderfest is perfect for all families to get in the festival spirit.
Running in the summer season of the 31st July through to 3rd September, we expect some favourites of 2022 to return. These include the sounds of the summer, such as DJ Sharkey over on the Adventure stage as he makes a splash once again. You can meet the Groupie Troupe, who are Wilderfest’s biggest fans and they are absolutely wild! Cocomelon will be there and there is even a Festival Field packed with tasty treats and family fun games.

Things are looking wicked in the wild this October with a fa-boo-lous Halloween at Chessington. The witches have taken over with plenty of new tricks and treats for the whole family. More info coming soon for the 2023 events.
For those who want a snippet on what to expect, family entertainment included The Witches of Adventure Point, the troublesome trio of witches who cast a spell on Chessington! Not forgetting Banyan – The Circle of 8, as the powerful dances protect Banyan which is in danger. They even have a Trick or Treat live show as you take an adventure to Candyland where the grumpy Witch has hidden all the sweeties!
We expect a new maze in 2023 amongst other great family entertainment, so keep an eye on this spooktacular event later on in the year. Running from the 14th to the 30th October…
Get ready for a magical Christmas adventure at Chessington this December. With more details to follow, the elves are busy preparing for a purrrrfect event as Winter’s Tail makes a return. More details coming soon for the 2023 events.
