The first season for 2024 is upon us for Phantom Peak and they have named it the Festival of Innovation: Spring at the Peak. This season started on Friday 8th March and is running until Sunday 9th June, which has provided plenty of time to check out what they have to offer for 2024. With 10 all new trails, Springtime themed cocktails & treats and all of the friendly town folk return, there is plenty to see & do once more in the town of Phantom Peak.
For those who are still strangers to Phantom Peak, where have you been? Phantom Peak has been shaking up the London scene since its launch in 2022. With a new season every few months matching the time of year, they label themselves as an open world immersive adventure right in the heart of London. What that means is you can explore the town they have built, speak to residents, explore stories & trails whilst enjoying food, drinks and other experiences that happen throughout your time there. From meeting the town mayor Pocket, through to finding out who Jonas is and playing the world famous Platyhooks game, you can never be bored when exploring Phantom Peak.
The Festival of Innovation is no different and they have provided another unique season filled with wonder & excitement. Tickets range from £19 through to £44, with several bolt on experiences and dates being available. Usually running a day time show on the Saturday and an evening show Thursday through to Sunday, you have no excuse but to visit them on your next trip to London.

So the Festival of Innovation started in a very similar style to what we are now used to at Phantom Peak. This is giving guests the first 30 minutes to roam, get food or drink or just start meeting some of the residents as they prepare for the experience to officially begin. Usually around 30 minutes in, an opening show begins which is hosted by the town mayor, Pocket, as he explains what the Festival of Innovation is and more importantly, what Phantom Peak is and what you can do during your visit here as a tourist.
New for this season was the Jonacoin, this gold coin is a collectable which lucky pre-sale customers can get their hands on each season, with the coin changing. We collected our first one, which of course featured the main man himself, Jonas.
We also headed to the bar to see the new drinks on offer, with a range of new cocktails on offer, which you can see look very sweet and they are! They have also created a new machine you can interact with, named Klacky. If you are old enough to remember the annoying paperclip from Microsoft, then Klacky takes some inspiration from here so be prepared!
With 10 all new trails and stories to explore, we had to visit multiple times to just even get half of them done. We had such fun exploring these as they honestly just get better and better each season. For us who have visited every single season, the stories are always so refreshing and different. They provide such great comedy elements as well as keeping you captured into wanting to complete the story. They have challenging tasks to do whilst you explore the town. For those who are new to Phantom Peak, you should average around 1-3 of these, whilst regular tourists may get 4-6 done, but remember there is so much you can do.
One of our favourite games was back, Platyhooks and for those who know, know why this activity returns. They also had a creative task going on in the town, which required you to make your own technology and get voted to be one of the best to win a prize. This linked in with the overarching story, as the town folk were also doing so and sharing these creations across your time at Phantom Peak.
For the first time, we checked out the JonaCocktail experience known as The Broken Chalice. This is an add on experience which costs £19.99 per person. This is a 20 minute exclusive experience to only a select few who purchase it, where you will solve challenges and be rewarded by a cocktail at the bar upon completion. Not forgetting the welcome shot also, so this only for 18+ tourists. Well worth checking out if you have visited before!
What makes Phantom Peak is the team behind the scenes and of course the actors who play the characters you meet. Every guest has such a different experience, as whilst they have scripted stories to follow, they can engage with you about any topic, which makes the world even more immersive. For first time visitors being able to just meet them and learn their names, whilst returning guests will get to meet the same characters and continue a new story on with them, Phantom Peak will always provide a high-quality adventure.
Whilst the Spring at the Peak season is almost at the end, the 2024 Summer season has been announced starting on June 21st called Starlit Summer. With new trails, new games and a whole new story at one of the best times to visit in the hopefully glorious sunshine, we would make sure you visit Phantom Peak this summer if you have not already made plans to do so.
