To start our mission, we were given a sheet of paper which had some strange drawings and some puzzles on which made no sense at this point. We were also pointed out to a telephone which was of course, haunted. We were advised we would get phone numbers and would need to dial out on the old fashioned phone to speak to the spirits to move along our journey. Given the first number, we called up and heard the whispers of the first spirit who gave us more of the story. He also set us a challenge which we needed to solve to get the next number. Of course, only one person can use the phone so it does print a transcript next to the phone so everyone can hear the story and use it to assist to solve the puzzle. 

You have to use everything around the bar to solve the puzzles. So you can’t just sit down and wait for them to come to you. Pictures, books, cabinets and maybe even a talking fish on the wall might come in handy! Most of the puzzles were simple but still provided plenty of fun, we only had one issue trying to solve one of the puzzles, which when we noticed our mistake, was quickly rectified. We believe this is easily completed in groups of 2 but would be very fun in a larger group wanting to have some drinks with it. 

Whilst we can’t go much more into the experience to ruin the story, puzzles or ending, we can say it took us just over an hour to solve and with minimal help. Any assistance can be given by any of the team working at the venue and as it is a new experience, we are sure elements may be added or changed over time. It is good to note also as you complete parts of the story, you will be given a receipt which will provide certain offers on, such as 10% off drinks which can be exchanged at the bar, which is a fun little extra.
