Today we look at PLONK, a crazy golf company that was formed back in 2014 by a group of set designers from the film industry, with a goal to plonk down the best crazy golf courses possible in the capital. Over the years, they have done just that with many different locations across the UK & Europe, from award winning venues to bars and museums. 

As it currently stands, they are home to 3 venues in London, Borough Market, Camden Market & Hackney. Each venue offers something different but they are all tailor made courses to give you a one-of-a-kind experience, adding craft bars, retro arcades and other entertainment to the venues, help them keep fresh with the crazy golf and to be one of the coolest urban venues to visit across London.

With so many exciting venues, we decided to head down to the Hackney venue, which offers one amazing package! In the east of London, the Hackney / London fields location offers hotdogs, cocktails, arcade, board games and of course, a 9 hole crazy golf!

Away from the crazy golf, we opted in for a Bottomless Brunch at this venue. This costs £30 per person and actually is an superb package! Between 12pm – 3pm, you can book this and you get the 9 hole crazy golf, unlimited drinks for an hour, a hot dog of your choosing plus 5 retro game tokens for there arcade! 

We started off with the drinks and food and there was plenty on offer. We tried out all 3 of the cocktails, which we were surprised with how good they were! The hot dogs came as with either a beef, pork or veggie offering and this was good quality, loaded and packed with flavour. It had a nice bun and fillings and it paired nicely with the cocktails. We tried some of the beers too and these were all great too, from a lager and IPA! (ignore the plain hot dog I had, they had much better offerings!)

Finally we got to hit up the retro arcade with our 5 tokens each. This allowed us to play so many different old school games, from pinball machines to a shooting machine, to even some really old school classics using a joy stick & buttons. Sadly a few of the machines were broken during our visit however, as additional entertainment we had a great time after a few drinks. Equally, they have so many board games to play, however we just opted in for some Jenga & Uno instead!
