When we arrived at the event, it was hosted outdoors and it was a little difficult to find using the satnav. We recommend when on Court Road to keep a good look out for the signage, as it is there but not lit up so can easily be missed. They do have plenty of parking but depending on the weather, wear suitable shoes and clothing!  The entrance was a little hidden as it was the opposite side of the car park but we did manage to find it eventually and we were greeted by the lovely team. 

Inside the event, it is very spacious and has a few other bits of entertainment on. They had a Funfair with a few rides available to ride, a pizza van, coffee stall, a meat stand, crepes and other desserts too. They had a funky clothes shop with splattered UV designs which look handmade!  We also seen a fair few roaming characters which reigned terror to everyone they met and they did well to achieve that. With the event not being too busy, it allowed for a bit of atmosphere to build for sure alongside the music of the Funfair rides.

Renegade

“The world is ruined. We only have ourselves to blame. If only we had listened, we wouldn’t be in this mess. Earth is now completely dilapidated, desolate and deserted… there’s only a few inhabitants left on earth.” 

Renegade is hosted at the back of the event. We were met by a very energetic actor near the start who really set the scene in his crazy deluded way. Smashing everything in his path, he really made us feel uneasy and moved quickly. The maze was filled with junk and other debris, there wasn’t anything groundbreaking, however, the actors made up for this with one section having 5 actors really going insane and chaotic for us. The scares were definitely bigger and with a classic styled ending, we are sure many guests will be screaming their way out! 

Snyders

“Snyder’s Pub, on the outskirts of Orpington, home to the largest criminal enterprise in the South East, is struggling to keep it’s head above water with the threat of a new group of miscreants, ‘The Groundsmen’. Young and fresh-faced with a streamlined view to become the most feared group in the country, it’s looking like Snyder’s may well be pushed off their throne and banished from their turf.” 

Snyders was the one maze we knew of before attending the event and was very much looking forward to seeing what they had in store. This attraction had 2 signs outside making it very obvious what the maze was and was the best looking facade at this event. We were met outside by the bouncer of the pub as he filled us in on what to do and not do before entering the fine establishment. Stepping inside Snyders was a simple bar setup and we met the bar lady and more importantly Mr Snyder himself. He wasn’t a force to be messed with and we worked this out very quickly. Throughout the rest of the maze was a range of great stop scenes with the actors really shining through. The ending was certainly unexpected, but we’ll keep that a secret!
