Makers of award-winning escape rooms in Amsterdam to launch new room. Sherlocked, creators of award-winning escape rooms  The Architect and The Vault to launch new room – The Alchemist – in December.

Amsterdam-based experience design studio, Sherlocked, has produced some of the top rated escape rooms in the world. This December they will launch The Alchemist – their first new permanent escape room in seven years. 

Sherlocked has grown in popularity due to the worldwide success of its previous escape room, The Vault,  which was crowned the 7th best escape room in the world. It is lauded as an extremely immersive non-traditional escape room, which sees players break in rather than out, as they take on the role of art thieves to carry out an elaborate heist. 

The Alchemist promises to be a similarly immersive, non-traditional experience, which uses even more elaborate techniques than their previous rooms. More information about Sherlocked and their new room can be found on their website: www.sherlocked.nl/ 

Aside from these weekly prizes, one player who correctly submits the answer to a final, seventh puzzle will receive a VIP ticket to play The Alchemist, which includes a rare behind-the-scenes tour of Sherlocked’s process, and a two night stay at the Zoku hotel in Amsterdam

Aside from escape rooms, Sherlocked also hosts large group games for company events and has created a series of online escape games. They have collaborated with other businesses for short-term projects, including an escape game held in the Rijksmuseum for a few months in 2019, and a collaboration with the Zoku hotel to create an escape room that guests could rent out and play while they stayed there. 

The Alchemist will be a fantastic addition to the wide range of escape rooms in Amsterdam, and to Sherlocked’s own collection of rooms in the Beurs van Berlage near Dam Square.
