Abroad Trips in 2021

2021 is an exciting year for theme parks with many new rides & attractions expected across UK & Europe. For us here at Thrill Nation, we will be travelling to many different European countries and even a trip to America. Check out what to expect from us in 2021!

April

April starts our thrilling adventures for us with 3 abroad trips planned. First up will be Tenerife with a visit to one of the best and well known waterparks, Siam Park! Rated number 1 for 7 years in a row,  this water kingdom offers thrills for the whole family. 

We then jet off to Madrid to experience two new parks for us. Parque Warner Madrid hosting many key rides such as Lex Luthor, Batman: Arkham Asylum & Superman; La Atracción de Acero. Shortly followed by a day at Parque de Atracciones too. 

To end our trio of trips in April, we end up in Barcelona to visit Tibidabo, the longest running amusement park in Spain and one of the world’s oldest too.

May

In May we continue the trio trips with two visits to Germany and also a visit to France. France brings us to visit Parc Asterix which we have had the joy of visiting a handful of times already, alongside a new park in Paris called Jardin d’acclimatation.

With our two trips to Germany, of our visit will contain a mixture of thrills from theme parks and water parks. Tropical Islands / World will contain our water slide fix whilst Belantis & Freizeitpark Plohn will be the two theme parks we also take a trip too. 

Trip two to Germany contains another key water park known as Galaxy Erding, containing over 20 slides and the 2nd longest tube slide in Europe. Alongside this, we will be visiting Skyline Park, Bayern Park & Legoland Deutschland.

 June

If April & May didn’t keep us busy enough, June is when our big trip to America begins. Being completed in two halves and spending over 2 weeks in various states, we are super excited for our first visit to all of these places.

The first half of our trip will take us to Texas where we will get to visit Six Flags Over Texas & Fiesta Texas, with Hurricane Harbour water park also located at Fiesta Texas. Kemah Boardwalk, Schlitterbahn Galveston & Galveston Pier will also be visited. Not forgetting SeaWorld San Antonio and their water park Aquatica!

The second half of our American trip will see us joining Pleasure Beach Experience in their America takeover, where we will visit multiple parks across Ohio. Six Flags Great America & St Louis, Holiday World, Kentucky Kingdom, Kings Island and Cedar Point all join our mega trip out in the states.

July

 In July, things have started to quiet down for us however, we will be heading to Finland. Heading back to a park we visited in 2019, Linnanmaki with one of the best thrilling coasters in the country, Taiga! Joined by two new parks being Power Park & Särkänniemi, we are super excited to head back during a warmer month.

Heading into the bank holiday weekend and crossing into August, we will also be in Italy. With parks to be confirmed, we expect to visit Gardaland, MovieLand Park and Mirabilandia.

August

In August, we have 1 trip planned at present which will be to Belgium to try out some new for 2021 coasters. Visiting Plopsa De Panne to ride their new for 2021 spinning coaster, a new mega coaster at Walibi Belgium, a family friendly coaster named Walkala at Bellewaerde alongside Bobbejaanland 2019 triple launched coaster, Fury.

The rest of 2021

Whilst we have booked so much already for 2021, we are sure to be adding many more European trips to the list throughout 2021 as and when we can. With hopeful trips to Disneyland Paris & Phantasialand in the winter time, along with a trip back to Europa Park to experience Traumatica & Rulantica once more too.
