April 2022 Thrilling Plans

Tivoli Gardens

Denmark

We’ll be heading to Denmark to experience this inner city amusement park for the first time, which features consistently in the most visited theme parks in Europe! The park prides itself on its gardens, entertainment programmes and of course the rides. We are most looking forward to experiencing the compact B&M Floorless Rollercoaster as well as the classic Rutschebanen wooden coaster.

You can expect live social media updates from our visit to the park, as well as a TikTok video and a website review to follow afterwards.

Bakken

Denmark

The amusement park is the oldest in the world, dating back to 1583! It’s located 10km north of central Copenhagen in Denmark. We’ll be visiting for the first time to see what the amusement park has to offer, combining old and new attractions. Tornado is certainly the standout ride which is a fast paced spinning coaster by Intamin, which we’re excited to see just how thrilling it is.

You can expect live social media updates from our visit to the park as well as a TikTok.

Siam Park

Tenerife

Often regarded as the world’s best waterpark, it’s won several awards to back it up, and we certainly agree it’s our favourite. Having just been in December, we couldn’t resist returning to the Siam themed water world. It features some of the biggest and best water slides around, including the fear-inducing Tower of Power, a bodyslide dropping straight down and through a transparent underwater tunnel.

You can expect social media updates, and a TikTok including on ride footage (POV’s) of some of the park’s attractions.

Aqualand Costa Adeje

Tenerife

Owned by Aspro, this is a great waterpark which has seen huge investments over the past 5-10 years, completely transforming the park with some detailed theming and unique thrilling slides including a double space bowl and racer slides featuring an airtime hill. A big highlight of the waterpark is the Dolphin show which runs daily. We were only here in December 2021 but definitely keen to return when we’re back in Tenerife this month.

You can expect social media updates from the visit.

Disneyland Paris

France

We are joining Just Coach Travel on one of their Disney Dash trips to DLP in France. The theme park resort has so much to offer and is well known for the highly themed attractions and character interactions. The park is recovering from COVID restrictions and seems to be offering a full entertainment schedule along with their highly regarded Disney D Light show which features drones over the castle, celebrating 30 years of the park!

Look out for social media updates, a Tik Tok as well as a review for the Just Coach Travel trip overall.

Madame Tussauds

UK – London

We haven’t visited Madame Tussaud’s since the pandemic, so during a visit to London this month we will be sure to make a visit to see the new additions, and how the attraction is run. Hopefully the Spirit of London is open as it’s always a highlight and great dark ride for the UK. The thing we are most looking forward to is the new 4D Marvel cinema experience which is free with the Merlin Platinum Pass (otherwise an up-charge applies).

You can expect social media updates and maybe even a TikTok.

Mission Breakout: Underground 2099

UK – London

Mission Breakout is an escape room company located in London and offers 3 different games; their latest one, ‘Underground 2099’ has just recently opened and we’re looking forward to experiencing it. It’s based on a post apocalyptic future where rats have transformed and taken over, the mission is to thwart the plot of their leader, King Rat, hidden within the depths of the London Underground.

We will share our thoughts on our socials, and also write up a review with ratings of our experience.

Plohn Freizeitpark

Germany

Right at the end of April we set off on a mini German road trip, and this is the park we are visiting first. It’s been planned for the last few years, having been postponed in 2020 and again in 2021, so we are looking forward to finally being able to visit. The park is home to two major coasters which really take our interest; El Toro is a GCI family wooden coaster, and Dynamite is a Mack Big Dipper coaster.

You can expect live social media updates and hopefully on ride footage.
