Bantzquest is one of many experiences created and designed by Buckbuck Games. Since 2014, they have created original adventures across the UK in an ‘other worldly’ theme and requires some imagination to complete the package. 

Buckbuck Games would usually be hosting these experiences in person at a location of your choosing but, with the pandemic they have had to be even more creative. A new generation of online games were built with 5 currently on offer.

The experience takes inspiration from a dungeons and dragons style of game. Bantzquest is best described as an open ended role playing game where nothing is off the cards in the nightclub of your dreams. The goal, to make DJ Megabantz play your favourite banger to achieve the best night out ever, otherwise known as TOP MEGABANTZ STATUS!

With help of your live host, you can create a personalised immersive adventure in a different kind of virtual night in. Create your own character, design your outrageous nightclub of your dreams, meet the guests and don’t forget to somehow meet the ever popular DJ Megabantz to complete your quest.

Never done anything like this before? Not a problem, as your live host will help you along the way in what to do. Just bring your clubbing gear, sneak in a beverage and don’t forget dice as this is a quest of chance!

Bantzquest has the option for additional goodness to be added to the standard version of the experience. Offering different packages so that the game can be tailored specifically for your group. We played with the gold package involved and would recommend this package for a top notch game. 

Their silver package is great for birthdays. For £25 you can send over anecdotes, old stories, nicknames, hobbies etc. Anything you like so the host can either revere or roast the person celebrating. The gold package provides this customised service for each player in you booking and costs £75.

The experience is for groups of 5 (can be 6) per live host and priced at £27 per person. If you add on the gold package, that is another £75. So in total for £210 (£35 each), you have a 90 minute personalised, creative and outrageous night out experience in the comfort of your own home on zoom.

The price of the experience is relatively high in terms of other virtual games. The virtual content of the game isn’t that substantial, with minimal visuals. However the whole experience and uniqueness of the interactive story is what sets this apart from others.
