Heading into the first room you are introduced to the AI that you have signed ‘permission’ for all your data over to, it cleverly incorporates names and images and claims to be accessing the history of your records, and how the system learns and involves using it.

Progressing further into the attraction, images of yourselves are used further, and things don’t go as planned, which you’re then finding yourself fighting your way out of the labyrinth. With moving doors, visual illusions and obviously mirror maze sections , it is very possible to get lost and having your mind play tricks on you further confusing your bearings.

Projections are frequently used throughout, and they are particularly effective projecting your faces throughout the experience which will be apparent when you check it out yourself – but be warned it does look super creepy. Special effects also include lasers, smoke, strobes, air cannons and other visual lighting which has a great impact.

The storyline takes several twists, and it is fantastic to be put right in the centre of it making for an immersive experience. The wow factor is certainly lost after the first time doing the attraction, but there’s definitely more things to spot, and many opportunities to get physically lost inside, so I would still recommend experiencing it on different visits.

Overall we really enjoyed the attraction. Whilst it is not the most ground-breaking, budget blowing ride, we can appreciate it for what it is – a fun walk-through attraction with a realistic and plausible storyline, which incorporates many visual tricks and personalised touches.

The attraction has a recommended age of 13+, we believe this is due to the nature of the storyline, as well as the many effects used throughout the attraction. At the time of writing this, due to COVID capacity restrictions a free timed ticket needs to be collected on the day via a QR code found outside the attraction and elsewhere around the park – these time slots do sell out so be early to avoid disappointment.
