The Glitch Bar & Raceway is a brand new unique arcade bar which has joined up with The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch. A short walk away from the multiple tube stations, the venue is located by a side entrance to the local pub.

Drink, play & race at The Glitch Bar as it offers a great entertainment package. The Glitch Bar is sponsored by Laine Brew & Co, which is always well stocked and offers many great alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks during your visit. Play arcade & classic games with a dance machine, basketball and more. Then finally race at The Glitch Raceway, a 10 driver ultimate miniature motorsports race within the bar, the only place where you can drink and drive!

We were invited to experience The Glitch Bar on a Saturday in February, at quite a lively time of 5pm. Upon arrival, we checked in downstairs which security were guarding. They had any pre-books listed and they use this system during busy times, so make sure you pre-book during peak dates and times such as weekends and evenings!

The seats give you a good birds eye view of the race track which is simple yet chaotic. The race commentator introduces each racer and shows you which car you’ll be controlling. The race features 15 laps and registers who finishes where alongside the fastest lap, so a possible double bragging rights! 

Each race is different to the last and whilst it is chaos on the track, it’s a great way to keep you entertained from a classic bar. Whilst we had some glitches during our experience, the majority of races worked and provided fun and laughter. Each race experience lasts around 5 minutes, so it gives you plenty of time to master the track.

It’s worth noting that The Glitch Raceway is a part of The Racing Bug family, who host raceways all across the UK in select venues!

Whilst you find a lot of the thrills on The Glitch Raceway, they also have an arcade and bar which should not be forgotten. Hosting a range of classic and retro arcade games, there is so much to enjoy. From shooting a few hoops to dancing away on the dance machine, to even classic air hockey. With something for everybody, it adds an extra layer of fun with your beverage! 

The Glitch Bar is a funky little bar which hosts all your favourite drinks. Being well stocked and costing in line with other London bars, it was perfect for the venue. The Glitch Bar alongside the rest of the venue had great graphics and bright colours throughout, making it funky and stand out. Music kept the venue lively and whilst the space was smaller than thought, it does host up to 100 guests and this is plenty to have a great evening at the venue.

Overall, The Glitch Bar & Raceway is a popping, funky and thrilling venue which can turn your regular drinks down the pub to something so much more. You can easily lose track of how many hours you have been here and create so many fun memories. More information and tickets can all be purchased directly from their website.
