Our experience was The Battle For Britain escape room. 

“The day is 18th August 1940 and the Luftwaffe have launched a resurgent attack on Britain, where your air base has been hit by the first wave of heavy bombing. As the only survivors, you must access the strategic ops room and mobilise the full force of the RAF to save Britain. But with a second attack imminent, can you also save yourselves?”

Puzzles & Flow: 10/10

The puzzles and flow of the game was done incredibly. Everything made sense, no puzzles were too difficult or too easy, nothing required outside knowledge prior to the game and with it being a multi-linear experience, it gave you the opportunity to do more than 1 task simultaneously; so when we got stuck, we could move on and come back to it later. We took no hints in the game and managed to complete it in good time too! The puzzles were a range of padlocks and technology based, using different tools and skill sets which for a team of 3, allowed us all to shine and utilised our strengths throughout the escape. This meant the flow could not be faulted and it all felt seamless and natural.

Overall, The Battle For Britain is one of the best and strongest rooms we’ve done this year. Escape Plan Ltd have a lot going for them, with a rare theme, unique objectives and some excellent puzzles and gameplay. It creates a well polished 60 minute experience that we enjoyed so much. Even if the theme isn’t for you, we still think you’ll enjoy the games they have to offer. With 3 to choose from, they all sound equally as fun as the next.
