Escape in 60 is an escape room company located in the heart of Windsor. Located just outside of Windsor and the castle, a short walk by the river takes you to Windsor Leisure Centre, where you will find Escape in 60 setup. Ran by Kathryn & Mike, this duo have come up with 3 challenging rooms as a small, family run business. 

They have been open for around 2-3 years and have been improving and keeping busy ever since. 

With The Amber Room, Escape The Castle and The Curse of the Lost Chamber being their three themed escape rooms, they have a great range to choose from. 

Costing is dependant on numbers and which room, with The Amber Room costing slightly more due to it being a 75 minute room. Therefore, costs fall between £20 – £27 per person, which is reasonable for an escape room at this location. 

Storyline & Themeing: 7/10

The Curse of the Lost Chamber is an Egyptian themed room and whilst this is quite a common theme, it is great to see different styles of this theme. The storyline flowed from start to finish with a great introductory video, perfect for anybody with a sense of humour. The puzzles in the room all matched the theme with hardly anything feeling out of place. Whilst this is a reasonably small sized escape room, it packed many secrets throughout your journey.

Puzzles & Flow: 8/10

The puzzles were great fun throughout the room. You were given a clear hint at the start of the game to get you started, everything then flowed from this point onwards. The game is linear so everything moves on reasonably logically. With a mix of word and number padlocks, maze styled games and some other fun styled games thrown in, there was a nice range of puzzles. More physical than mental in this room if your an adult. More than we originally thought and met the eye! Although rated for a younger audience, adults can have great fun too playing with it being a challenge.
