Paultons Park has now started its 2021 season on April 12th, due to the restrictions of outdoor attractions now being lifted from the pandemic. Paultons Park is the UK’s number 1 family theme park, located in Hampshire with over 70 exciting rides and attractions. Home to the well known Peppa Pig World, the park has expanded with Lost Kingdom back in 2017 and new for 2021, Tornado Springs. 

Originally due to open back in 2020, they had to delay the opening because of the pandemic. With many years and with the added delay to the opening of the new midwest American themed town, Tornado Springs opening is now one of the most anticipated openings across UK theme parks for 2021. 

We took a visit on opening day to take a further look into Tornado Springs alongside the rest of Paultons Park for the season ahead!

Storm Chaser

Storm Chaser is a spinning rollercoaster manufactured by Mack Rides. It is the headline attraction in Tornado Springs and now arguably the whole park! The experience includes a detailed indoor queue line and an immersive barnyard station where you get ready to set off on your storm chasing adventure. The coaster has a height restriction of only 1m, and isn’t overly intense, making it a perfect family attraction. However thrillseekers will still find it fun, and has its surpassingly forceful moments on the helixes!

Other Rides & Attractions

Tornado Springs has many other rides to fill the area and to make it a great new themed land to the park. Al’s Auto Academy allows you to take the wheel and head out on Route 83, perfect for the much younger audience. Two super fun drop towers named Windmill Towers have also been installed, providing power generation out in the crooked countryside! Buffalo Falls is a classic family water slide that allows you to take in the views across Tornado Springs. Trekking Tractors is another perfect attraction for the younger audience, as you enjoy a leisurely trip around the farm and try to avoid some cheeky groundhogs! Finally, the Rio Grande Train Ride takes passengers on a delightful journey through Tornado Springs and other areas of Paultons Park, Choo Choo!

Two play areas have also been installed in the area called Junkyard Junction and Parking Lot Tots, both being fun playgrounds for all kids.

Overall, Tornado Springs is a fantastic family addition to Paultons Park. Offering a great mix of rides and attractions from the thrill additions being Storm Chaser & Cyclonator, to the family rides such as Windmill Towers and Buffalo Falls. There is something for everybody within this latest instalment to the park.

Tornado Springs really does make the park feel so much more complete and with more offerings than ever before, you can see why Paultons Park is value for money!
