Virtual Escaping is a brand new independent virtual escape game company. Hosting games in Dutch & English currently, they have created a unique online system to host their virtual escape games with friends, families & colleagues during this lockdown time. 

Expedition Northpole is their first creation and Underground Murder was just released in February 2021 as their second game. Both games offer a great challenge with an easy setup, plenty of puzzles and their unique system within the package of the game.

“Early in the morning, a young man is on his way to work with the subway. Just like he does every morning, together with two of his colleagues. They both confirm that he did not behave as normal in the last couple of minutes of his life. When he storms out of the metro he falls to the ground, but no one that was near him can tell exactly what happened.

Storyline & Themeing: 7/10
The storyline and themeing was much improved from Expedition North Pole. The graphics looked much more genuine, the theme was realistic and it wasn’t too wordy or focused on one such thing. This made the experience work so much better and seeing the game go more 3D in places was also quite cool.

Puzzles & Flow: 6/10
The puzzles have also improved and whilst some of the ideas still follow on from the concept as before, these worked with the theme. The additions of some new puzzles were very different and made a nice mix to what you had to do. 

Uniqueness: 8/10
The unique gameplay is still as good and they expanded on this with the addition of making it a murder mystery styled ending. Adding this gameplay in made it a bit more challenging but was a welcomed addition with this theme and mission.
