Zip World are known for their adrenaline-filled activities in the Snowdonia region, and later this spring they’ll be opening another brand new site home to two exciting attractions.

“Home to Phoenix and the Tower Coaster Zip World Tower is the 4th Zip World site to open, and is the 1st to be situated in south Wales. Nestled in the Rhigos mountain range, and boasting stunning panoramic views, this adventure hub is situated at the old Tower Colliery coal mining site, and had created a new lease of life for this historic and widely-loved base.”

In February the Zip World team shared a sneak peek at the construction of both the Tower Coaster & Phoenix Zip Wire (which can be seen above).

The Tower Coaster will be unique to Europe and looks to take the traditional alpine coaster style to a new level with side-by-side seats and the rider is in control!

The Zip World Tower location in South Wales will also be home to Phoenix, the worlds fastest sit-down zip wire – maybe taking on Velocity the worlds fastest ‘head first’ zip wire at their other site is a little too extreme, this seated position zip wire looks set to be the perfect thrill for all!
