Walsall Scare Maze are an entertainment brand which open one long scare maze each Halloween season, they also open festive versions over the Christmas season. For October 2021 they opened Bunker 41 which sees visitors attending the Maztac Corporation facility, but soon become test subjects themselves and come face to face with Dr. Keine Hoffnung himself!

Overall the themeing and layout of the Christmas version remained the same as Halloween, but with some nice festive decorations. The storyline received some major updates, giving the drunk party vibes, as well as the creatures and characters themselves all donning Santa or elf hats. We found the experience to be a perfect combination of scares and sheer hilarity, with so much actor interaction (including touching) it’s one of the best mazes we’ve done in 2021, and even better to have something at this time of year. Without spoiling going into detail, we particularly loved the fat Santa, and the intense finale with Christmassy strobes and a blasting festive soundtrack.
