The Cube LIVE is the only life like experience we’ve seen in the UK to replicate what the show could offer. Before now, you couldn’t play these games unless you was on the show! 

“Gone are the days of enjoying The Cube from the comfort of your sofa. Now the award-winning hit show has left the studio and for the first time ever YOU can take it on.

The Cube Live drops you right into the intensity of the TV gameshow. It may look straightforward when you watch at home, but will you be able to hold your own when you are faced with The Cube?

The Cube Live will feature many of your favourite games from the original TV series to keep you on your toes. In teams of up to four The Cube will choose seven iconic games, both single and two player, for you and your team-mates to play.”

During our experience, we got to play 7 randomly selected games. We got to play Loop, which was a single player challenge that required a ball to be rolled around a loop and land in a box that was some distance away after the loop. It required skill, precision and focus. Managing to secure it with only losing 1 life, it was a huge success! Not all games are easy, we took on Synchronicity, a 2 player challenge that required both of us to throw a ball to the opposite corner of the cube, hitting a designated red area and to do it in 0.05 of a second difference too! Successfully achieving thon our third life was well earned. 

The Cube didn’t keep it easy, as we got further into the 7 games, they got harder and we started to crumble. Aperture was our penultimate challenge and you had to get 25 balls into the box with a hole just big enough for the ball, using just one hand with just 20 seconds on the clock. Easy right? No… we used our swap and failed this with the closest being 3 balls away! 

With this just being a snippet of the games we got to take on in The Cube Live, each game was exhilarating, thrilling and a fun challenge. It was great to take part in what most people have seen on TV and saying how easy it is, but when your standing in a life like cube, it becomes very real and very difficult fast. The hosts we had were friendly, interactive and kept the hour we played entertaining. Everything combined really is mind blowing and is pushing the entertainment industry further into some high quality, social fun.
