For our first ever visit, we went over to Loughborough to experience one of their two games they host at this venue. This experience was The Vault Squad which came with the following story; 

“A group of talented criminals brought together by the criminal mastermind, Shanks, are tasked with testing the security of the huge ‘Wexell Bank’ in Loughborough, but is Shanks really on your side, or is he setting you all up to take the heat for a real heist?”

The experience is for players between 2 – 6 guests with it costing as little as £15 per person. Multiple slots are available to book from daily and if being a part of a criminal gang isn’t your vibe, they do have another room called The Magic of New Orleans which you could experience instead. 

Uniqueness: 6/10
The Vault Squad isn’t unique at a first glance however, it does have many unique elements to it. One of the puzzles at the very beginning is really different and fits the theme, which we enjoyed. Also, how all Deadlocked games link back to The Wexell Cooperation is really different and embeds seamlessly with the average customer missing this touch whilst regular and return customers catch on. 

Overall, The Vault Squad is a decent game which we enjoyed very much so. We did manage to work faster than most on this occasion and escape in 35 minutes! Whilst fast, we were a large team with us having knowledge of Deadlocked games too. We would recommend this room for more first timer players or less experienced players as it will give you a challenge however, if you are a fan of a quality experience then we would still recommend playing and trying to smash our time!
